It was Gary Gilmore's FATHER, Frank Gilmore who may have been the illegitimate son of Houdini, not Gary. There was a bit of doubt about the true father of Gary's older brother, Frank Jr, but this was never proved either way. If the author had taken the trouble to read the two excellent books "The Executioner's Song" by Norman Mailer, and "Shot in the Heart" by Mikal Gilmore, he would have had the true facts before writing this article.
